Wildbase Pathology

When an endangered native animal is found dead, the Department of Conservation sends it to Wildbase Pathology for a post-mortem examination. Wildbase Pathology works with the Department of Conservation to do post-mortem examinations on endangered species from across NZ. Finding the cause of death, how and why the animal has died, gives valuable information and knowledge for those working hard to save endangered species.
